As the DS4DM project approaches the start of its third and final project year, the project partners – RapidMiner and the University of Mannheim held a plenary meeting at Mannheim, Germany on the 28th of June, 2017. The participants included Dr. Edwin Yaqub, Philipp Schlunder and Ralf Klinkenberg from RapidMiner’s side and Benedikt Kleppmann, Prof. Dr. Heiko Paulheim and Prof. Dr. Chris Bizer from the side of Mannheim University.

The project partners reviewed the collaborative work and progress made in the second project year, which included more than a dozen milestones – all of which were delivered as planned. More importantly, the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss an internal plan on how best to focus on the remaining goals of the project. This included initial discussions on unconstraint and correlation search, data fusion, crawling product data, extraction library, enterprise adapters and dissemination of project results.
